KINETICS are studies of cutting and sketching on wax afterwards turned into metal using a lost-wax silver casting technique.

My teacher was George Tsek, my sister's husband, who pushed and challenged me to learn to use all the necessary -sometimes scary- tools in the process.

I really enjoyed this work, except from the part where I was trying to make a living selling them. At first, I went into a well-known gallery. The curator did accept the work in the gallery's shop, which was good, but then when it came to advising me on the prices, she said:

"Don't you think art should be cheap for everybody to buy?"

So the prices were low, I got 11 shops, a too high number for my capacity, and I was reproducing - it felt more like "copying"- my own things till a year later, I didn't even decide it, I just had to STOP.
